Engage with the natural world in unexpected ways.

Plan your trip

We are Australia’s first space dedicated to environmental art in all its forms.

Our 16-hectare precinct encompasses the National Centre for Environmental Art (our gallery), Gariwerd/Grampians Endemic Botanic Garden, Jallukar Native Grasslands, ephemeral wetlands, outdoor artworks, a shop, and more.

There are no public transport options to the site, meaning that the best way to reach us is by car. We are approximately a six-minute drive from Halls Gap, 90 minutes from Ballarat, or three hours from Melbourne.

Plan a road trip and make the most of the region: explore the environment, be awestruck by ancient rock art sites, visit a winery (or three), and end the day by staying with a local accommodation provider.
