Explore an abundance of flora, fauna and artworks.

The Wama Foundation exists on a sprawling, 16-hectare site that encompasses the Gariwerd/Grampians Endemic Botanic Garden, the Jallukar Native Grasslands, ephemeral wetlands, and outdoor artworks.

In the botanic garden itself, are more than five-hundred plants and almost sixty endemic. Many are rare, endangered, or critically endangered, meaning that this space serves a greater purpose than just being beautiful to look at: it’s also preserving the region’s biodiversity and natural assets. Wander through at your own pace on a self-guided tour and experience these oft-remotely located plants in one place – something you won’t get anywhere else – and keep your eyes peeled for outdoor artworks as you go.
